I am the author of the Spellcrackers.com urban fantasy series set in contemporary London with dangerous faeries, celebrity vampires, bureaucratic witches, eccentric goblins, rock-solid trolls, copious bloodletting (umm ... probably not suitable for children) magic, mayhem and murder!
The Sweet Scent of Blood [1] is out now, The Cold Kiss of Death [2] comes out 16th July 2009 and The Bitter Seed of Magic [3] is out 2010, in the UK [published by Gollancz]. All three books will be published in the US [Berkley Ace] starting Spring 2010. Books 1 and 2 will be published in Germany [Goldmann] Sept, 2009 and April, 2010: and in Russia [Azbooka]in the next eighteen months.
I live in the UK, on the South Coast with my husband and our two rescue dogs: a hyperactive Jack Russell/Lab cross, and a couch-potato German Shepherd/Lab, who doubles as a tummy on legs; and we share our garden with a colony of vampire … err, pipistrelle bats.
